What's involved

Lower energy AFT light pulses are converted into heat and absorbed by the chromophore (the molecules in the skin that are responsible for its colour) delivering better results with less discomfort than traditional IPL treatments. This permanently targets the pigment, while leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. Clever.

The ND:YAG laser is a non-invasive, non-ablative laser that targets red pigment (haemoglobin) to penetrate deep into the skin to selectively target and shrink the appearane of spider and thread veins, as well as brown age spots, freckles, and broken capillaries.

As both of these devices use heat, mild discomfort may be experienced, and results may be seen as early as within 24 hours. For pigmentation, lightening is best seen within 1 - 2 weeks.
