What's involved

Your Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment begins with a consultation with Henrietta, giving her the opportunity to understand your skin, your individual needs and what you’d like to achieve.

For your first treatment, the experience begins with acupuncture needles being placed across the back to encourage the smooth flow of energy through the meridians before the targeted treatment begins. Moxa is also placed on the body to support circulation and restore balance and harmony.

Then it’s time to focus on the face.

Using ultra-fine acupuncture needles, Henrietta targets specific areas of the face to stimulate the skin and underlying tissues, encourage facial circulation and support natural collagen and elastin production. Treatment is tailored to you, with particular attention given to areas such as fine lines, loss of firmness, changes in tone and texture, facial puffiness, or skin that’s looking a little less lively than usual.

Once the needles are in place, Dermalux LED light therapy is introduced to complement the facial acupuncture, helping to calm and soothe the complexion while you settle into the treatment.

Needles are removed, then it’s time to properly switch off. Sound therapy, using tuning forks, adds another layer of relaxation, helping you slow down and settle into the experience.

To close the treatment, finishing products are applied using acupressure facial techniques to release facial and jaw tension and leave the skin feeling refreshed, relaxed and revived.

The result is a treatment that works on more than just the face, leaving skin looking brighter, firmer and more radiant, while you leave feeling thoroughly reset.
