What does it do?
This is one of those magical finds for those with sensitivity or acneic skin that moisturises without leaving a trace. The ultra-mild formula will improve roughness and reduce redness and irritation in sensitive skin. As with all Esse products it is packed with probiotics and prebiotic ingredients that improve the structure of your skin cells so it has a better barrier function against pollutants, as well as being able to hold moisture more successfully.

what’s the secret?
The secret of Esse’s products all lie in their probiotic wizardry and Hydro is no different. Hydro uses delicious natural ingredients including super-gentle aloe that protects and improves dry, damaged, broken, sensitive and irritated skin as well as restorative jojoba oil that works wonders on oily and acneic skin as it regulates sebum production to prevent oil build up as well as keeping your skin super moisturised.
It also harnesses the power of Inulin and Gluco-oligosaccharides as a prebiotic that works with your skin to boost the growth of protective friendly skin bacteria on the surface of our skin that helps to fight toxins. This is blended with a fabulous extract of probiotic Lactobacillus (a bit like the good bacteria found in Yakult but more skin focused). This gets to work on building up the good microbes on your skin which means better skin condition and better moisture levels in general.
Esse looks at your body as its own ecosystem, creating products that work directly with your own microbiome that is made up of every organism (biome). Rather than whipping together a cocktail of chemicals they use a harmonious combination of live probiotics or probiotic extracts with prebiotics in a low pH format.

To apply, you should press Hydro gently into the skin of your face, neck and décolleté in the morning and evening after you’ve used your usual cleanser and serums. Avoid the eye contour area. Do not apply in the event of a dermatological treatment prescribed by a physician. Do not apply to wounds or abraded skin.
